A must if you want to experience irony in Seattle (ah shit, it's summer, not winter.) They specialize not only in dessert cocktails, but they actually make desserts, and of course, pies themselves!īait Shop: A seabar dive, but they specialize in not only tropical punches but primarily in frozen cocktails. Pie Bar: A Bar that's a dream to a lot of ladies but sadly without any dudes from Chippendales. Witness: A southern themed bar with bourbons and southern inspired cocktails Sun Liquor Co.: Seattle's hotspot for tropical drinks. Foie Gras! Foie Gras Frites, Seared Foie Gras, Foie Gras torchon, Foie Gras Burger, etc.!!!!!!!!!! Quinn's Pub: Along with a huge draft beer list. Otherwise some of the best cocktai s in the city (If you're in Belltown, go to Rob Roy for too the best cockails in the city as well). You're going to have to call the bar itself and they'll let you in, or might have you wait. It's in a non-obvious hidden area with no obvious sign like a speak easy. Knee High Stocking Co.: This is where one must go to for mixology cocktails. It really is divey like and they have an awesome arcade area in the basement and it's loud throughout the floors though everyone's nice. of the past decade) with Unicorned themed fruity drinks (like soda/ energy drinks mixed with vodka sorta thing) and carnie food as well. Unicorn: A must when barhopping in Seattle/Cap Hill!!!!! This is a carnival/taxidermied animal setting where all of the cool hipsters and alternative (goth, emo, etc. Why? It not only has one of the best mixology cocktail programs in the City, but it has the best Whiskey list in the city as well certified by the Canlis brothers of Seattle's most famous and luxurious/fanciest restaurant, Canlis! I love drinking single malt scotches along with the many cognacs they offer as well. But then again, being in a LGBTQ bar (even though the whole district, let alone the town (despite some occassional asshole homophobes, racists and neo-nazis that linger in the shadows of the city) does offer comfort for those clientele that those bars bring in (please excuse the "PC Straightsplaining", and I hope a straight person like myself can do a good job of suggesting which LGBTQ bars to have fun in, lol).Ĭanon: My most favorite bar in Seattle. But before I continue I just want to throw some other bars (and I personally imagine you want to go to other bars in between because simply for the offerings they have rather than it being specifically a LGBTQ bar it's just a personal thing of me to not want to typecast those of the LGBTQ community as those "only interested in being in those cliques an areas" as of course you have your own interests in drink like any other person) in the are that's known for their unique styles and what drinks they specialize. Now the question is to find a gay/lesbian themed bar. Of course all bars on Capitol Hill is completely accomodating towards the LGBTQ community due to the district's obvious reputation as Seatte's Gayborhood.
